### Two Faces

Watch any world leader speak at the United Nations. At the G20. At BRICS. At Davos.

They speak of harmony. Of common good. Of benefit for all. Of cooperation. Of a better world for everyone.

They use beautiful words.

China says: "We believe in peaceful development and mutual benefit."
Bharat (India) says: "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family."

Beautiful words. World stage words. Words that sound like philosophy. Words that sound like wisdom.

Then they go home.

And at home, they ban, restrict, and punish the one technology that actually delivers what they promised on that stage.

**This is the great contradiction. This is the government confusion.**

### China — The Wu Wei Betrayal

China's civilization gave the world Wu Wei — the philosophy of non-doing, of effortless action, of letting things flow naturally without forcing.

The Tao Te Ching says: *"The best ruler is one whose existence is barely known by the people. The next best is one loved and praised. The next is one feared. The worst is one despised."*

Wu Wei says: do not force. Let things find their natural level. The river does not need a committee to flow. The tree does not need permission to grow.

**Bitcoin IS Wu Wei.**

Bitcoin runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — without a single meeting, without a single manager, without a single government deciding what happens next. It is the most Wu Wei technology ever created. It does not force. It does not demand. It simply flows.

And what did China do?

**China banned it.**

In June 2021, China banned cryptocurrency mining and trading. The government that inherited the philosophy of "let things flow" forced the most natural-flowing technology in human history to stop.

But here is the confusion that reveals everything:

**China still manufactures 99% of all Bitcoin mining hardware in the world.**

Bitmain. Canaan. MicroBT. All Chinese-founded companies. They build the machines that mine Bitcoin for the entire planet. The ban says: "You cannot mine Bitcoin in China." The factories say: "But we will build every machine that mines Bitcoin everywhere else."

And it gets worse.

By November 2025, China's share in global Bitcoin mining hashrate quietly rose back to **14%.** Mining "never left China — it went underground," according to industry reports. The government banned it publicly. The miners continued privately. The government speaks one way on stage. The reality operates another way off stage.

**This is not Wu Wei. This is the opposite of Wu Wei. This is forcing and pretending. This is saying "harmony" at the UN while building control at home.**

### Bharat (India) — The Sanatana Betrayal

At the G20 summit in 2023, Bharat (India) chose a theme. Not an economic slogan. Not a political message. A Vedic verse:

**"Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — One Earth, One Family, One Future."**

The Prime Minister stood before the world's most powerful leaders and quoted the Upanishads. The world is one family. We are all connected. Borders are illusions.

Beautiful. True. Sanatana.

**Now look at what the same government does to Bitcoin.**

Bitcoin is borderless — like Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam promises. Bitcoin treats everyone equally — like Dharma demands. Bitcoin's Aatma never dies — like the Gita teaches. Bitcoin has 21 components of completeness — like the Vedic tradition declares.

Every principle of Sanatana Dharma that the government quotes at the world stage... Bitcoin embodies at home.

And the government's response?

**30% flat tax on any Bitcoin profit.** One of the harshest crypto tax regimes on the planet. Plus 1% TDS on every transaction. No loss set-off allowed. No indexation benefit. Treat it worse than gambling. Treat it worse than alcohol. Treat it worse than tobacco.

The Reserve Bank of India tried to ban banks from serving crypto in 2018. The Supreme Court had to overturn it in 2020. The government then proposed a bill to ban all private cryptocurrencies with 10-year jail terms.

The land that gave the world Zero. The land that gave the world Sanatana Dharma. The land that quoted Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam to the entire G20.

**That land punishes the technology that embodies its own philosophy.**

### What China Really Wants

China does not hate Bitcoin's technology. China loves blockchain. China is building its own **digital yuan** — a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

The digital yuan does everything Bitcoin does — except for the one thing that matters: **it is controlled by the government.**

Every digital yuan transaction can be tracked. Every digital yuan wallet can be frozen. Every digital yuan payment can be censored. The government sees everything. The government controls everything.

This is not Wu Wei. This is the opposite. This is Wei — forced action. Control. Surveillance.

China banned Bitcoin not because Bitcoin is bad technology. China banned Bitcoin because **Bitcoin cannot be controlled.** And the digital yuan can.

### What Bharat (India) Really Wants

Bharat (India) is building the **e-Rupee** — its own CBDC. Same principle as China.

The e-Rupee will be digital. It will be fast. It will be modern. And it will be **fully controlled** by the Reserve Bank of India.

Every e-Rupee can be tracked. Every e-Rupee can be frozen. Every e-Rupee comes with conditions.

The government does not want to stop digital money. The government wants to stop **free** digital money. Free as in freedom, not free as in cost.

They want the technology without the philosophy. They want the blockchain without the decentralization. They want the digital without the dharma.

**They want Bitcoin's body without Bitcoin's Aatma.**

### The Government Confusion

Here is the confusion, stated plainly:

At the world stage, governments speak of:
- **Common good** → Bitcoin benefits all equally
- **Harmony** → Bitcoin runs in harmony with no conflict
- **Family of nations** → Bitcoin has no borders, no nationality
- **Empowerment** → Bitcoin gives financial sovereignty to every individual
- **Transparency** → Bitcoin's ledger is open to all

At home, governments practice:
- **Control** → Ban or tax what cannot be controlled
- **Surveillance** → Build CBDCs that track every transaction
- **Restriction** → Make it painful to use free digital money
- **Centralization** → Replace decentralized Bitcoin with centralized CBDC
- **Opacity** → Print money in secret, devalue savings invisibly

**The confusion is not about technology. The confusion is about power.**

Governments are not confused about what Bitcoin is. They understand it perfectly. They understand that Bitcoin is everything they promise on stage — common good, harmony, equal treatment, transparency.

**The confusion is that they promise these things to the world but fear them at home.**

Because if the people actually got common good, harmony, equal treatment, and transparency — **what would they need the government for?**

### The Dam and the River

We return to water.

A government that bans Bitcoin is a dam built across a river. The dam says: "You shall not pass." And for a while, the water stops.

But water is patient. Water finds cracks. Water goes underground. Water seeps through. Water rises over. Given enough time, water always wins — because water follows the law of gravity, and gravity cannot be legislated away.

China built a dam in 2021. By 2025, the water was flowing again — 14% of global hashrate, underground, unstoppable. The dam held for four years. The river is eternal.

Bharat (India) built a tax wall. 30% — designed to make Bitcoin too expensive to touch. But Bhartiya (India)n traders moved offshore. Volume moved to international exchanges. The wall redirected the water. It did not stop it.

You cannot dam water forever. You cannot ban Wu Wei. You cannot tax Dharma out of existence.

The philosophy always wins. The river always reaches the ocean. The Aatma always finds a new body.

**The only question is: how long will governments stand in the way of their own philosophy?**

> "At the world stage, they speak of harmony, common good, and family of nations. At home, they ban, tax, and control the one technology that delivers all three. The confusion is not about Bitcoin. The confusion is about power. Governments fear what they cannot control — even when it is exactly what they promised."
