How BlockID Works

Creation:

Guest downloads BlockStay app or uses web interface. Creates BlockID with basic verification. Links preferred payment methods. Sets initial preferences. Begins building reputation with first stay.

At Check-In:

Guest arrives at network hotel. Scans QR code or taps NFC. Hotel receives: Verification that guest is legitimate, reputation score, preferences (if shared), payment authorization. Hotel does NOT receive: Home address, ID numbers, card numbers, full history.

During Stay:

Hotel learns preferences through service. Room temperature adjustments logged. Amenity requests noted. Feedback provided. All stored in guest's BlockID, owned by guest.

At Check-Out:

Mutual review process. Guest reviews hotel. Hotel reviews guest. Both reputations updated. Payment settled automatically. Guest takes updated BlockID to next hotel.

Privacy Architecture

What Hotels See:

- Your full stay history

Data Storage:

Revocation:
